100% American Black Angus - Pampered, Pastured, and Processed

We serve the same grass-raised, grain-finished beef to you that we raise for ourselves, strictly from our Missouri Ozark family farm. Our beef is exclusively American-born, American-raised, and American-processed 100% Black Angus.  No mixes.  No tricks.  No shortcuts. We follow strict animal husbandry and welfare (inspired by Temple Grandin) guidelines designed for the lowest stress cattle at all times.

Our parent stock Black Angus bulls are typically registered and selected to perform among the top 1-2% of all marbling indexes, among many other top health and vitality traits. Our herds are always pastured amidst lush spring fescue fields, supported by a rich mix of Ozark shaded forests and natural spring waters. Our well-suited farm landscape allows for water lake cool-downs in the summer, and safe windbreak retreats on winter days. Low stress herds create better gains for us, and better meats for you.

Our market steers or heifers always keep access to Ozark fescue rich pasture, even when supported with our unique blend of grains. This diet and environment supports additional marbling which typically rates at or near USDA Prime.  By tracking the nutritional content on every animal that we process, our intent is always to load the best omega 6 and 3 fatty acids for your brain, body, and spirit. Less time on the hoof with our Angus than imported Wagyu steaks can mean a lighter touch on our environment and your wallet.

Never Imported, Mixed, or Long-Hauled

Every one of our calves are carefully tracked from birth to finish, and never blended with other cattle with less records. Our feeder cattle were never imported and remain on our farm pastures and small fields for their entire lives until their one last day. By working with local craft butcher processors, our cattle can also be harvested fresh without any industrial feedlots, long-haul bull wagon trips, or overnight stressors.

Loaded for Omega 6 and 3 Balance - for Brain, Body, & Spirit Fuel Only

Our custom black angus herd combines the best genetics and diet designed to deliver our best blend of omega 6 (good for the brain, cancer prevention, and heart health) and omega 3 (good for gut, reduced inflammation, and circulatory health) fatty acids. We strive to measure and improve our tracked lots each year, which is only possible from hand retailing what we craft. In some study, grain finished beef has been found to product up to 14 times more Omega 6 fatty acids that our human bodies can digest. So, our plan is build off that foundation and balanced with supplemental fish oil in the beef diet for omega 3 blending. Of course, our meats are designed free of antibiotics, mRNA vaccines, artificial technologies, chemicals, dyes, nitrites, and additives.

Always Dry-Aged At Least 14 Days For Taste

Galileo once described wine as "sunlight, suspended by water." With meat curing, water weight can hide a lot of imperfections that we would rather you not experience with ours. Our meat is never "wet-aged" in a wet, vacuum bag of plastic-trapped bacteria, moving often from packer to distributor to retailer to you over several weeks. Au contraire, mon frere, we want to purify our product - low and slow. We want even our farmer brown ground chuck to lose some of its water weight before blend and final packaging, slowly on the butcher's rack during the first 14 days. Dry-aging closer to the Old World ways of our forefathers means that our marbled angus goodness will only step up in flavor as it moves just once to your dinner plate.  7 Brown Farms puts too much time and effort into our labels to let our products degrade in its cutting, handling, or packaging.  That's why our premium cuts are steakhouse ready and individually frozen and wrapped.
