We serve the same grass-raised, grain-finished beef to you that we raise for ourselves, strictly from our Missouri Ozark family farm. Our beef is exclusively American-born, American-raised, and American-processed 100% Black Angus. No mixes. No tricks. No shortcuts. We follow strict animal husbandry and welfare (inspired by Temple Grandin) guidelines designed for the lowest stress cattle at all times.
Our parent stock Black Angus bulls are typically registered and selected to perform among the top 1-2% of all marbling indexes, among many other top health and vitality traits. Our herds are always pastured amidst lush spring fescue fields, supported by a rich mix of Ozark shaded forests and natural spring waters. Our well-suited farm landscape allows for water lake cool-downs in the summer, and safe windbreak retreats on winter days. Low stress herds create better gains for us, and better meats for you.
Our market steers or heifers always keep access to Ozark fescue rich pasture, even when supported with our unique blend of grains. This diet and environment supports additional marbling which typically rates at or near USDA Prime. By tracking the nutritional content on every animal that we process, our intent is always to load the best omega 6 and 3 fatty acids for your brain, body, and spirit. Less time on the hoof with our Angus than imported Wagyu steaks can mean a lighter touch on our environment and your wallet.
